Permabond TA4610 is a versatile 2-part methacrylate adhesive engineered for exceptional bonding performance. This professional-grade adhesive features a thick gel formula that won't sag or drip, making it perfect for gap-filling applications. With a convenient 1:1 mixing ratio and 12-15 minute set time, it creates strong bonds at room temperature without requiring primers or surface treatments. The adhesive excels at bonding challenging low-energy plastics like polyethylene and polypropylene, while also working effectively with metals, composites, carbon fiber, and various other materials. Its impressive 4,000 PSI tensile strength ensures durable connections, while the thixotropic formula allows for precise application. Popular for bonding: PE, HDPE, LDPE, UHMW, PP, PPCO, PPHO, COPP, HOPP, Natural Rubbers, Synthetic Rubbers, Teflon, PTFE The translucent yellow finish provides visual confirmation of coverage, and full cure is achieved within 24 hours at room temperature. This industrial-strength adhesive comes complete with a dispensing gun and mixing nozzle for easy application, making it ideal for professional manufacturing, repair work, and assembly operations. TA4610 is also a substitute / backup formula for these formulas: 3M DP8005, 3M DP8010, Scigrip SG400 LSE Application Instructions: 1. Surface Prep: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and grease-free. Use Isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) wipe if necessary. 2. Mixing & Dispensing: Use a static mixer to apply a thin, even bead of mixed adhesive. 3. Assembly & Clamping: Press parts firmly and maintain pressure until handling strength is achieved. 4. Curing Notes: Adhesive cures best inside joints (anaerobic). Adhesive exposed to air may remain tacky for an extended time (not a defect, just a characteristic, it will eventually lose it's tackness). Remove excess before curing. Avoiding Common Issues ■ Leaving large beads→ sticky residue. ■ One side exposed to air → tacky, sticky surface. or crystalization or crystal-like curing ■ Not clamping long enough → weak bond. ■ Stressing before full cure → joint failure. ■ Always allow full cure before loading. Troubleshooting: Still tacky? Exposed to air, not a bond failure, allow it to keep curing, can take a while to lose tackiness. Crystalization? Exposed to air, not a bond failure, allow it to keep curing, can take a while to lose tackiness. Slow to grab? Possibly TA4610 (longer cure) or surface contamination. Joint failed? Likely due to early stress or insufficient clamping.

  • BONDS HARD-TO-GLUE SURFACES: Creates a strong bond to, HDPE, Teflon (PTFE), Nylon, Carbon Fiber, ABS, Polypropylene PP, Polyethlyenes PP, Most Metals and is one of the very few products that can actually form a strong bond without flame treatment for these surfaces.
  • PROFESSIONAL STRENGTH: Features thick gel formula with non-sagging properties and up to 4,000 PSI tensile strength for durable connections
  • CURE TIME: Handling strength in 40-50 minutes and achieves full cure within 48 hours at room temperature
  • EASY APPLICATION: Includeshand plunger and mixing nozzle for convenient 1:1 ratio application in dual cartridge system
